• Heavy Cream – 1 Cup

  • Dark Chocolate – 2 Cups

  • Vanilla Extract – 1/2 tbsp

  • Orange Flavored Liquor – 2 tbsp

  • Confectioner’s Sugar

  • Cocoa Powder

  • Handful of Finely Chopped Nuts


  • Heat heavy cream on the stove until it begins to steam (Do not boil)

  • Add the chocolate to a heatproof mixing bowl

  • Pour the steaming cream over the chocolate and let it sit for about 20 seconds (Melt the chocolate slightly)

  • With a handheld whisk, slowly mix the cream and the chocolate together (For about 2-3 minutes)

  • Add the orange flavored liquor and vanilla, as you mix

  • Let the mixture sit for at least an hour

  • When the mixture is firm, use two tablespoons, one to scoop the chocolate and the other to push onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

  • Roll the truffles into a ball like shape (Wear latex gloves)

  • Dust them in cocoa powder, confectioner’s sugar and finely chopped nuts
